Project overview
Last Spark is a prototype action/survival video game created for a collegial final project in a team of three using Unity. We had full creative freedom over the game to be developed. Although incomplete, this was the first major project I worked on, and I hold it in special regard, especially for its aesthetics, which were often praised by our teachers and peers.
The player takes on the role of the Last Flame in a grim world, forced to survive long enough to triumph over nightmarish lords and their sinister minions lurking in the woods. The Last Flame can explore the environment in search of weapons, esoteric trinkets, and spells to aid in it's quest.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION : A GRIM WORLD !
I chose to explore a textured and gritty graphic identity to evoke the grim atmosphere of the game. All decor elements, objects, and characters have a texture reminiscent of old parchment or canvas.

design DOCUMENT & Game Mechanics
With my teammates, I created a presentation document of the creative and artistic direction intended for our teachers, summarizing all aspects and objectives of the game concept. (in french)

The campfire is the central point of the map, serving as protection against enemies, a crafting area, and a starting point for each new day.

The ruins are randomly generated in the environment and contain a treasure.

A mini-boss appears randomly in the level. It must be defeated in order to progress to the next day.
